To further expand access to advanced management education, MGM’s Institute of Management Studies & Research (MGMIMSR) offers the MMS Lateral Entry programme—an academic pathway designed for candidates with prior qualifications in relevant 4-year bachelors’ degree. This initiative facilitates direct entry into the second year of the AICTE-approved Master of Management Studies (MMS) programme, enabling eligible students to complete their postgraduate degree in just one year.

The Lateral Entry programme is especially suited for graduates of PGDM or equivalent qualifications from AICTE-approved institutions, seeking to upgrade their credentials with a university-affiliated degree from the University of Mumbai.
